Site Update – Highway 99 Adventures

Greetings All!

We are taking our Highway 99 Adventures in a different direction than in the past. All locations are being geolocated to allow for two things:

  1. 1) Clickable maps are being added to the Region pages so you can see where the locations are
  2. 2) An app is being developed to take them “on the road”. You’ll be able to see what is near you and what is available. Sites with external links (website of their own) will be available though this as well.

We’d love to hear your feedback once things get moving further. This is a big change for the Association and one I hope for the better. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again – All locations selected for the Highway 99 Adventures have not paid to be there and may or may not be aware of their selection. It is meant as a guide to all the exciting things you can find along Historic US 99. If you know of a place YOU think should be there, let us know.

I will post an update once the app becomes available for “beta testing”. Maps will be available on the Highway 99 Adventures pages in the near future independently of the app.
